APPPTMA Holds International Publication Assistance Workshop
LETIGES – The Muhammadiyah Aisyiyah Higher Education Postgraduate Program Association (APPPTMA) held an International Publication Assistance Workshop in the Faculty of Economics and Business Hall, Muhammadiyah University, Jakarta, on Friday (27/05). The workshop was attended by postgraduate lecturers from 14 PTMAs throughout Jabodetabek and West Java in a hybrid manner. Following APPPTMA’s objectives, the workshop was held to empower and improve the quality of postgraduate lecturers within the PTMA environment.
On this occasion, Dr. Ma’mun Murod, M.Si, conveyed what UMJ wanted to achieve by accelerating efforts to submit professors. “Through APPPTMA, I hope that PTMA will be able to compete with other universities. God willing, for UMJ we are optimistic that the upcoming re-accreditation can achieve the title of excellence. “This is our shared commitment,” said Ma’mun when delivering his remarks.
Next, Prof. Herwina Bahar, MA., a lecturer who is part of the APPPTMA management, when met on the sidelines of the event, said, “The hope is, of course, that there will be synergy between PTMAs, both in increasing lecturer competence, research, community service, and developing journals.”
According to him, the program launched by APPPTMA can also be an opportunity for postgraduate lecturers to share knowledge and experience to strengthen the synergy between PTMA lecturers. “Synergy is a breath of fresh air for PTMA to move forward and progress together,” said Herwina.
The workshop and mentoring activities will last two days, 27-28 May 2022. The lecturers will be accompanied in publishing articles in international journals.***
